Admissions/Session Times/Fees
The Nursery School is open from 8.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, Term Time Only. We offer Early Education Places and Wrap around care for 2-4 year olds:
Breakfast Club 8.00 am – 9.00 am
After-school/tea Club 3.00 pm– 5.00 pm/ 3.00pm-5.30pm
Our core hours for funded sessions are between 8.55-3.05 and are split into set sessions:
- Monday (8.55-3.05)/Tuesday (8.55-3.05)/Wednesday (8.55-11.35) 2.5 days, 15 hours
- Wednesday (12.25-3.05)/Thursday (8.55-3.05)/Friday (8.55-3.05) 2.5 days, 15 hours
- Monday-Friday 9.00-3.00, 5 days, 30 hours
Nursery School for 3-4 year olds:
We currently offer a number of sessions providing 15/30 hours of funded education for 3-4 year olds:
- Monday (8.55-3.05)/Tuesday (8.55-3.05)/Wednesday (8.55-11.35) 2.5 days, 15 hours
- Wednesday (12.25-3.05)/Thursday (8.55-3.05)/Friday (8.55-3.05) 2.5 days, 15 hours
- Monday-Friday 9.00-3.00, 5 days, 30 hours
Wrap around day care is also available (8.00-5.30) subject to availability. As of September 2022 our hourly rate for 3/4 years olds will be £9.00. Meals are charged on top (Breakfast = £1.50, Lunch = £2.75, Tea = £2.50)

30 Funded Hours for Eligible 3-4 year olds
We have a limited number of places for 30 funded hours, Term Time Only for working families who meet the criteria. For further information and to check your eligibility, please click on the link below. You will also need to complete one of our application forms to go on to the waiting list.
Funded 15 hours for 2 year olds ( subject to eligibility-for working families)
From April 2024, eligible 2 year olds from working families will receive 15 funded hours. These can be used for our set sessions as above over 2.5 days.
Paying Daycare for 2-4 year olds:
Parents will need to choose from our set sessions as above and will have the option to add additional wrap around hours between 8am-5.30pm. Our hourly rate for 2-4 year olds is currently £9 per hour. Meals are charged on top.
Funded 2 year olds from non working families (Blackbirds):
Parents need to apply via the Bristol City Council Early Years Team. Depending on availability children will be able to access 3 set sessions (as above) between the hours of 8.55am-3.05pm (2 full days + 1 half day). Once you receive confirmation that your child is eligible, please contact us to go on to our waiting list. We will then get in touch once a space becomes available. Please note: if you are eligible, this does not guarantee your child a place at our Nursery School straight away. You will need to wait until a place becomes available.
