We are always looking for committed volunteers to support us within the Centre, whether it is helping out with our Forest Experience, reading with the children or helping out on our busy reception. Not only does this help us, but will also help you by giving you the chance to gain valuable experience within an `Outstanding` Nursery School and Children's Centre. All volunteers will be required to complete a volunteer application form, provide two referees and complete an enhanced DBS check as part of our Safeguarding.
We currently have opportunities for:
Forest Volunteers. You will help get the children ready, accompany them on the minibus and help develop the children's confidence and self esteem through hands on learning experiences in a local woodland environment.
SMSA's. You will help set the kitchen up for lunches and support the children during their lunch time. Clearing the tables and kitchen area after the lunch session.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer, please contact Shirley Page in the first instance, and she will arrange with the relevant member of staff to meet with you and explain the role and responsibilities as well as discussing your skills and requirements.
