Autism

We continue to build on our autism practice. We have staff with training in Attention Autism, Makaton, Good Autism Practice, the SCERTs model, work station, making sense of Autism and regular professional development from Speech and Language Therapists. We have experience of working with children who may be on the pathway to being diagnosed with Autism and who are diagnosed with Autism. 

We have Rachel Ferrand who is our link from the Bristol Autism Team. She supports us with any autistic children. 

We run daily attention autism sessions for any children who would benefit from developing their attention and listening skills. 

If you feel your child would benefit from an assessment for Autism you can make a referral yourself to Bristol's Autism Hub. We can also refer on your behalf, and with your permission.
