Our Speech Therapy Offer

We fund a speech therapist at the nursery on alternate Wednesdays, her name is Anna Chimenti.

She can provide speech drop ins, observe children and give advice on a range of language/communication needs. Anna may also lead a coffee morning for parents about how to support children's communication at home. Anna guides the SENCOs and staff with strategies to support children and can refer children for further assessment if required.

If you feel your child may benefit from speech therapy input you can let your key person know.

Sometimes we may feel speech therapy would benefit your child, we will talk to you about this.

We are privileged to have many children who speak more than one language, and this is a wonderful skill. We know that learning languages is complex and there are things we can do to support children in their multilingual journey.
